• Received second prize in the best paper presentation in poster session in the National Seminar in Hindi on “Matsya Evam Paribesh” conducted by CIFE, Lucknow Centre on 10-11th August, 2000 jointly with S. Datta, P. K. Roy and B. N. Tiwari for the paper “Matsya palan dwara maljal ka parishodhan.”
• Received third prize in the best paper presentation in oral session in the International Tropical Animal Nutrition Conference, held at NDRI, Karnal, Haryana on 4-7 October, 2007 jointly with S. Datta., A. Sinha., R.C. Das and P. K. Patra for the paper “Effect of different palleted feeds and feeding methods on performance of carps and freshwater prawn under polyculture”.
• CIFE Annual Award: Fish Nutrition, Biochemistry & Physiology Division received Best Division Award from CIFE, Mumbai for the year 2009-10 in recognition of its excellent overall performance as a Division.
