The purpose of of this research is to publish original research work that contributes significantly to further the scientific knowledge in aquatic studies. Fisheries literature is part of the larger scientific literature and is derived from basic research in related disciplines and applied research in fisheries.
Scientific literature is the principal medium for communicating the results of scientific research and represents a permanent record of the collective achievements of the scientific community. It is composed of the individual "end products" of scientific research and continues to expand as new research builds on earlier research.
