Research and Development Achievements

  • Nutrient - gene interaction-microarrays analysis in the laboratory of Nutrition, Aquaculture and Genomics (NuAGe) at Saint-pee-sur Nivelle, INRA France for Genomics studies using Microarrays and Real Time PCR for gene Expression Analysis (Effect of dietary fish oil suppression on gene expression profiling in liver of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss).
  • Enhanced the Public - Private - Partnership with Industry (Contract Research projects).
  • Developed a laboratory named: Digestive Physiology, Nutrition and Feed (DPNF) at ICAR - Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai.
  • Developed a laboratory named as Biochemistry and Genomics Laboratory, currently under Molecular and Biotechnology Division and also a wet laboratory, both at ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow.
  • Rigorous efforts were made for the development of “Ganga Aquarium” at ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow as Chairman (Works).
