ICAR-CIFE Mumbai organizes an “Interactive Fish Farmers’ Meet – 2016” at Motihari, Bihar on 30.12.2016.  The meeting was inaugurated by Hon’ble Agricultural and Farmer’s Welfare Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh.  More than 1000 fish farmers were present in the meeting who interacted with the experts from ICAR-CIFE Mumbai, KVK Pipra Kothi RAU Pusa, and progressive farmers.  Director, ICAR-CIFE welcomed the Chief Guest and also the local fish farmers and explained the activities of the Institute and role of ICAR-CIFE in developing and transferring the technologies for the fish farmers of the area.  The experience sharing and question answer session by the fish farmers was conducted in the presence of the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.  The technologies such as pearl culture and mixed farming was also explained to the farmers with the help of display material on pearl culture.
