The third batch of DBT Sponsored 3 Months National Training in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology for Fisheries Professionals from 2^nd May 2016 to 30^th July 2016 was successfully completed on 30^th July 2016 at CIFE Mumbai. Dr. Gopal Krishna, Director, CIFE and National Co-ordinator of the project presided the valedictory function and distributed certificates to the seven participants who were scientists and assistant professors from IIAB, Ranchi; CIFRI, Barrackpore; CIFA, Bangalore Centre; CMFRI, Karwar Centre; SVVU, Tirupathi; CoF, Ratnagiri; Kamdhenu University, Gujarat.

The participants presented the details of their short term research projects mentored by CIFE faculty. Dr. Aparna Chaudhari (PI, CIFE) presented the training report and evaluation by participants. The overall program was rated highly relevant [Theory: Relevant, Practicals: Excellent, Write-ups: Very good].
