CIFE launched the Swachhta Pakhwada with Director, CIFE administering the Cleanliness Pledge to staff and students on 16.09.2017. The oath was also administered at CIFE Centres by Officers-in-charge.
On Sunday, 17. 09. 2017, PhD students of the University participated in cleaning of the PhD hostel, mess and vicinity with great enthusiasm. They were led by the Chief Warden, Dr. N.S. Nagpure and Boys' Hostel Warden Dr. Rupam Sharma. Director, Dr. Gopal Krishna and other scientists and staff members also contributed. Chief Warden addressed the students and urged them to remain committed to achieving the goal of Clean and Green India and to be ambassadors of cleanliness in their lives. Director, CIFE also asked students to help find innovative methods of waste reduction and management.
