Clean-up drive on Versova beach and Landing Centre

As part of the ongoing Cleanliness program under Swachhata Pakhwada, the Ist year students of M.F.Sc and Ph.D. at CIFE participated with much enthusiasm in the cleaning up of Versova beach and Versova Landing Centre. The program was organized by the Institute’s faculty members Dr. Megha Bedekar, Shri. Ramteke, Shri. Shashi Bhushan, Shri. Lenin Singh, Shri. Manish Jayant and Ms. Husne Banu along with technical staff Shri. Mohd. Baqar, Shri. Sonawane. Students marched from the main campus to the site holding placards and banners to spread awareness about waste reduction, recycling and reuse, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness in society and everyone’s responsibility towards the same. The participants collected waste material into bags and handed over to BMC staff.
