Indian Fisheries Association (IFA)

Indian Fisheries Association (IFA) is one of the oldest scientific societies in India which was established in 1968. IFA is hosted at ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education (Deemed University), Mumbai. IFA publishes Journal of Indian Fisheries Association (JIFA). The first issue of JIFA was published in the year 1971. New IFA Executive Committee and JIFA Editorial Board have taken charge from October, 2022. With a dynamic leadership and an energetic team, IFA and JIFA are poised to become a throbbing hub of scientific ideas and innovation in the fisheries knowledge ecosystem.
