Shri. Mahinda Amaraweera, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic resources development, Government of Sri Lanka was accompained with Minister Dr. R. S. Raizada, Assistant Director General (Fisheries), ICAR The representatives from the ministries of external affairs and Home. visited to ICAR – CIFE Rohtak Centre on 4th November, 2016.

Dr. Gopal Krishna, Director, of ICAR-CIFE briefed on recent achievements and activities of the Centre. During the visit, the minister visited various research facilities available at the Centre and appreciated the efforts made by the centre in the field of inland saline aquaculture. The dignitaries visited selected private shrimp and fish farms located at Anwal and Madina villages, Rohtak (District), Haryana and a farmers interaction had also been arranged. Senior Officials of Rohtak District Administration, Shri R. S. Saugwan, Department of Fisheries, Govt. of Haryana, officials and staff of ICAR – CIFE Rohtak were present in the event.
