ICAR-CIFE, Kolkata Centre participated in the activity of uprooting the Parthenium from the campus during the Parthenium Awareness Week as a component of “Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan”. It is the regular activity of the Centre to keep the campus neat and clean, however, only one Parthenium was identified during this week which was uprooted and destroyed by the scientists of the Centre.
