The CIFE Aqua-Skill Hub (CASH) Portal, launched by ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai on 17 April 2025, is a state-of-the-art digital platform designed to streamline and digitize training and capacity-building initiatives in the fisheries sector. This one-stop, paperless portal enables end-to-end management of training programs - from proposal submission to bilingual certificate generation - while offering real-time analytics and reporting tools for programs under NEH, TSP, SCSP, and HRD schemes.

The portal was inaugurated under the dynamic leadership of Dr. C. N. Ravishankar, Director & Vice-Chancellor, and Dr. N. P. Sahu, Joint Director, ICAR-CIFE, marking a significant step towards digital transformation in training & skill development in fisheries & aquaculture. 

Key features include trainee access to learning materials, customizable data analytics, financial reporting, and downloadable certificates. With its user-friendly interface and inclusive design, the portal enhances outreach, transparency, and impact assessment. Developed under the guidance of the Training and Capacity Building Cell, the CASH portal reflects ICAR-CIFE’s commitment to digital empowerment, innovation, and sustainable skill development in fisheries and aquaculture.
