Secretary DARE and Director General ICAR, Dr S Ayyapan visited CIFE, Mumbai on 26th May 2012. He visited the new upcomming facilities including International Guest House, Boys Hostel, Academic Building, Type V residences etc. Dr Ayyappan appreciated the progress of work and suggested to start new HRD courses to attract international students, young scientists and other stakeholders to take new technologies and knowledge to farmers for large scale adoption throughout the country. The DG also met the students and discussed their academic pursuits and problems. Dr. W. S. Lakra, Director / Vice Chancellor was present with the DG during the visit along with senior faculty and officers.
