| The centre has taken initiation in training of manpower by organization of STP's and Kisan Meets on various aspects of inland saline aquaculture and through organization of exhibitions both at National and District level. The centre has now developed facility for testing of soil and water quality of farmer's pond on nominal charge for selection of suitable sites and proper pond management. This facility is being regularly catered to the Haryana Fisheries Department and a Consultancy Project on Prawn Farming in Haryana has been given to this centre. Dr. U.K. Maheshwari, Principal Scientist and Officer In-charge and Dr. S. Raizada, Sr. Scientist of the center visited the Agriculture Technology and Information Center (ATIC) at IARI, Pusa, New Delhi on every Friday of the month and gave necessary inputs to the visiting farmers on various technologies of fish and prawn culture and breeding. |

The Delhi Doordarshan prepared a documentary on the various activities of the center on 03.06.2005 and which have been telecast on two occasions in the National Channel. |
