Participatedin the ‘Kisan Mela’ from dated 30 th January to 1 st February 2006, arranged by the Dept. of Agriculture & Cooperation, Extension Division, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India & KVK, Jhabua (MP).

Technical guidance on fish culture aspect has been rendered to the fish farmers such as Shri Rajkumar Ginnore, dist. Harda, C. S. Rathore, dist. Dewas, Rejesh Tiwari, & C. J. Singh dist. Hoshangabad, Students from ZARS (JNKV) Powarkheda, etc. who visited to this centre during reporting period.

The transfer of technology on fish culture carp seed production and rearing, hatchery management and farm management etc was done through the above stated training programs and also to 212 students/visitors who visited this centre during the reported period.

Team of Bhopal Doordarshan visited this centre two times in the month of May & June 2005 and recorded the T.V. talk on various aspects of Carp seed production and culture for their regular telecast under Krishi Darshan program. Above talks were given by Dr. Somdutt, Sr. Scientist and Officer In charge, Shri S.S.H.Razvi, Scientist (SG), Dr. V,G,Dubey, Tech. Officer (T-5) and Sri L. P. Bamalia T-4. Besides, Dr. R. K. Upadhyay, Tech. Officer (T-6) also answered the questions of farmers under live T.V. talk with farmers on 19.08.05 and ‘Fasal Sangosthi’ program of Prasar Bharati Corporation Doordarshan Kendra Bhopal on 21.10.05. This program was also telecast from National Doordarshan Delhi.
